Scientists around the world are racing to find a potential treatment and cure for COVID-19. According to the World Health Organization researchers are developing more than 135 vaccines to fight the illness. And the White House has selected five companies as likely candidates to produce the vaccine. In New Jersey, Amici Clinical Research is already starting human trial investigations for one of those companies with a vaccine in development. With the help of federal funding and support to get millions of doses out to the public by the end of the year.
