White House infrastructure ‘report cards’ show big needs in NJ

A state-by-state report card from the Biden administration has buttressed Democratic talking points around the president’s $2 trillion infrastructure plan.

The report highlights New Jersey’s lowlights in critical areas: 502 bridges and over 3,995 miles of highway in poor condition, 22% of trains and other transit vehicles in the state past useful life, 31.2% of residents living in areas where there is only one broadband provider, 46% of residents living in a child care desert.
