VP Harris in NJ, promotes Biden’s ‘Build Back Better’ plan and Murphy

Harris praises NJ’s COVID-19 vaccination efforts

Vice President Kamala Harris visited a children’s center at Montclair State University along with Gov. Phil Murphy on Friday. It offered the perfect venue for her political sales pitch — promoting both the governor’s job performance and President Joe Biden’s controversial $3.5 trillion “Build Back Better” plan now stalled in Congress.

At a roundtable, Harris explained that one aim of “Build Back Better” is to reduce the high cost of child care. Later in Newark, Harris praised New Jersey’s COVID-19 vaccination efforts.
