‘Vaccine Angels’ help residents with vaccination sign-up

With COVID-19 vaccination enrollment beginning to open up to millions of more people across the state, so does the struggle to lock in an appointment. It’s not for the faint of heart — navigating a maze of websites for local, county and state-run centers.

Many report spending hours, sometimes in the middle of the night, trying to hunt down a dose. Others have turned to groups of good Samaritans, volunteers who’ve set up social media pages, selflessly helping to sign up residents for vaccinations. We meet the self-described “Vaccine Angels.” Correspondent Leah Mishkin has the story.
