Union says Rutgers focus on athletics hurts faculty

It was national news earlier this month when Rutgers University announced the triumphant return of head football coach Greg Schiano, $4 million salary and all. But 1,400 health and medical faculty, who have been without a contract since June of 2018, say the university doesn’t place the same value on a clinician doing research as it does on its head football coach.
