Trenton police officers help to fight food insecurity

It was a joint effort with the nonprofit Soup Kitchen 411

Members of the Trenton PBA local 11 took part in a food giveaway, in a joint effort with the nonprofit Soup Kitchen 411, which helped provide 500 meals to anyone who showed up. Officials say since the start of the pandemic, they’ve seen an increase in food insecurity, with 13.9% of the population in the state on track to being food insecure.
