Teacher vaccinations remain a key reopening factor for some NJ schools

CDC advice is that schools are safe when protocols followed

The push for in-person schooling got a big boost this week when the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said schools should reopen for in-person learning if safety protocols are enforced.

A CDC report said evidence shows scant transmission has occurred when teachers and students wear masks and practice social distancing. But in New Jersey, there is pushback in some districts. Correspondent Joanna Gagis reports.
