Survey: Many NJ immigrants face ‘dire situation’ during pandemic

Many of the state’s nearly half a million undocumented immigrants are working essential jobs during the pandemic but are excluded from federal stimulus payments and public benefits. That’s one finding in a new report by the immigrant rights group, which conducted a survey of roughly 200 immigrant families in the state and discovered widespread hardship caused by this health crisis.
