Snowstorm helps boost Cyber Monday sales

Online sales on Cyber Monday are on track to hit $9.4 billion, up nearly 19% over last year, according to Adobe Analytics. Bad weather is helping to drive sales, as Adobe says states that had more than 2 inches of snow on the ground saw a 7% boost in online sales.

A Moorestown-based retailer that went bankrupt, Destination Maternity, has received an initial bid of $50 million for its assets. The company has already closed hundreds of stores.

In New Jersey, a group of drivers for the ride-sharing service Lyft has sued the company in federal court. The complaint charges the company with failing to pay its drivers minimum wage or overtime.
