Gov. Phil Murphy announced at a press conference last week that the expectation for New Jersey schools in the fall was for “Monday through Friday, in person [learning], every school, every district.” But, he added, “Obviously if the world goes sideways we have to revisit that…”

A return to in-person learning would look different for each school district. Hopatchong Borough School district superintendent Arthur DiBenedetto said, “The pandemic has taught us things can change in an instant.”
