Rep. Van Drew on Amy Kennedy and Trump COVID-19 response

One of the most closely watched primary races took place in New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District. It’s where political newcomer Amy Kennedy, the daughter-in-law of former U.S. Sen. Ed Kennedy, toppled the South Jersey Democratic machine and earned the nomination to take on the formidable Rep. Jeff Van Drew in November’s election.

Van Drew switched parties to become a Republican during President Donald Trump’s impeachment hearings. It drew sharp criticism from Democrats and the praise of the president, who rewarded him with a campaign rally in Wildwood in January. So what does Van Drew make of his re-election challenge against a candidate with incredible name recognition? He sat down with Chief Political Correspondent Michael Aron.
