Rep. Andy Kim talks rising attacks against Asian Americans, his visit to Atlanta shooting scene

Calls for action continue in the wake of the recent mass shooting at Atlanta-area spas, where eight people were killed including six women of Asian descent. According to multiple studies, Asian hate crimes have more than doubled during the coronavirus pandemic and fears of violence are escalating.

U.S. Rep. Andy Kim (D-NJ) recently visited the sites where the attacks took place and is launching a new political action committee to help Asian Americans, and other people of color, get a seat at the table where policy decisions are being made.
