Protestors say ‘unmask our kids’ after NJ mandates masks for schools

About 100 protesters gathered near Gov. Phil Murphy’s home on Saturday

Waving signs reading “unmask our kids,” about 100 people gathered this weekend near Gov. Phil Murphy’s home in Middletown Township to protest the recently announced mandate for face masks to be worn in schools in the fall. The mandate affects students in preschool through 12th grade, along with teachers and visitors. Protesters called the mandate a violation of their personal choices for their children.
