Parents push back on district school reopening plans

Parents in Verona, Paterson and Jersey City are appealing to educators to make changes

Gov. Phil Murphy warned that this school year would be unusual and a challenge, no matter the method for learning. Roughly one month into the academic calendar, some parents are reevaluating their kids’ remote, in-person and hybrid plans. Concerns range from students falling behind, to the amount of aid needed to fully execute an at-home learning model. Correspondent Joanna Gagis has the story.
