Nonprofits depend on Giving Tuesday in a hard year

No donation is too big or too small

After a long weekend of giving thanks and shopping deals, Giving Tuesday is arguably one of the most important days of the holiday season. It’s a global generosity movement and call to action to help the people and organizations that need it most, like food banks.

This year, Giving Tuesday has become even more critical to fundraising for nonprofits during the coronavirus pandemic. Donations for many are way down because so many people who used to be able  to give can no longer do so. Correspondent Raven Santana reports.
