NJ Transit asks Newark bus riders for feedback to improve routes

While many workers can avoid riding the rails, 70% of NJ Transit’s bus passengers still show up at the curb

NJ Transit bus riders aren’t shy about asking for fixes and upgrades, but now they have a chance to give the agency specifics about what they want and need, at least in Newark.

As NJ Transit plans to completely redesign almost 40 bus routes around Newark for the first time in decades, it is soliciting riders’ comments in a  new online survey. Correspondent Brenda Flanagan reports.
