After an intense day-long debate, an FDA panel of experts Friday afternoon rejected a plan to provide a third dose of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine to the general public.

Friday, officials announced 2,038 positive cases and 17 new deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 981,931 cases in the state and 27,165 confirmed and probable deaths.
