As the state pushes forward in the quest to get as many residents vaccinated as possible, public health leaders said they’re already preparing to put shots in the arms of adolescents. Health officials anticipate emergency use authorization from CDC and FDA for Pfizer’s vaccine on kids 12- to 15-years-old. The New Jersey health department says it’s finalizing guidance for families and medical staff.

Monday, officials announced 459 new, positive cases and 10 new deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 880,635 cases in the state and 25,810 confirmed and probable deaths.
