NJ Spotlight News: July 7, 2021

The highly contagious delta variant is now the dominant coronavirus strain in the U.S., according to updated data from the CDC. It now makes up more than half of all new cases.

Wednesday, officials announced 240 new, positive cases and 8 new deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 894,224 cases in the state and 26,490 confirmed and probable deaths.
