Work is underway at restaurants, bars and businesses across the state as they prepare for Friday morning’s lift on the 10 p.m. indoor dining curfew and expanding indoor gathering capacity.

The restrictions are being lifted as the state reports another 2,503 new positive cases of COVID-19. Statewide the total number of cases is 633,731. With 101 more deaths, there are now 21,793 confirmed and probable fatalities since the start of the pandemic. Hospitalizations remain below 3,000 for the fifth day in a row.

The pace of the vaccine rollout is expected to ramp up in the coming weeks with more pharmacy locations coming online. As of Thursday morning, 876,529 doses have been administered with 161,276 being second and final shots.
