NJ sends 17 athletes, 4 alternates to Tokyo Olympics

Some are first-time Olympians while other are defending their Olympic titles

New Jersey will have a strong showing at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, with 17 athletes and four alternates ready to compete at the highest levels in their sports.

Some are first-time Olympians, while other are defending their Olympic titles. The athletes range in age and span events from track and field to swimming, gymnastics, baseball, soccer, fencing and more.
