NJ school funding shrinks for some, even in good economic times

New report finds that, like everything else, school funding is feeling the impact of the coronavirus pandemic

As more New Jersey school districts make the decision to go to remote instruction through the holidays, analysts are looking at school funding and whether the inequities that existed pre-pandemic can be resolved in a post-pandemic world.

A new report finds that more schools — especially those in high-poverty areas — are receiving fewer state dollars than they did in years past at a time when they need it most. Senior Correspondent David Cruz reports.
