NJ residents: Your electric bill is going up

Three of the state’s four electric utilities will increase residential rates as of June 1. Rates will go up the most at New Jersey’s biggest utility, Public Service Electric and Gas. The typical residential customer will see bills increase by about 4.4%, or $5.20 a month.

Monday’s mass transit mayhem has prompted yet another request for the Trump administration to approve construction of a new Hudson River train tunnel.

The slow demise of Sears continues with the chain closing another four New Jersey stores.
