New Jersey ranks 13th in the country for human trafficking cases

January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month, an opportunity to remind families of the deceptions that predators use to target children and to show minors how to detect danger and stay safe. The New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking is launching a campaign this month to address online grooming and to expose predator strategies.

Advocates say the risks have increased during the pandemic. Correspondent Leah Mishkin offers some tips from the people on the front line of prevention.
