New Jersey Business & Industry Association hosts virtual town hall on the state’s hiring crisis

At a virtual town hall hosted by the New Jersey Business & Industry Association, employers detailed the difficulties they’re encountering in finding enough workers, citing additional unemployment benefits as a disincentive to returning to work.

They also noted parents’ difficulty in finding child care and seniors still hesitant about the dangers of COVID-19 as deterrents to returning to work.
