NJ cancer treatment center will offer access to cutting-edge clinical trials

Bayonne native’s foundation donated $1 million to help Jersey City Medical Center establish new treatment center

A new cancer treatment center will offer New Jersey patients access to cutting-edge treatments and clinical trials via an affiliation with the Rutgers Cancer Institute.

The facility, launched by Jersey City Medical Center with a $1 million grant from a three-time cancer survivor, gives Hudson County residents the option of state-of-the-art cancer care without having to drive into New York City. Patients will get coordinated lab tests, consultations and treatments all under one roof. The center’s slated to open in July.
