Newark enacts 9 p.m. curfew in hot spots to stop rapid COVID-19 spread

Renewed restrictions are being instituted in Newark as the city’s COVID-19 positivity rate remains one of the highest in the state. Mayor Ras Baraka, who says people in some Newark communities are more likely to catch COVID-19 than anybody else and are more likely to die, is reimposing nightly curfews. On Thursday, he told the public more about what he’s trying to achieve. Senior Correspondent Brenda Flanagan reports.
