New poll shows Murphy with 15-point lead over Ciattarelli in NJ governor’s race

Fairleigh Dickinson University poll also finds that Ciattarelli has little name recognition

Gov. Phil Murphy has a commanding lead over Jack Ciattarelli in a new Fairleigh Dickinson University poll of registered voters in New Jersey. According to the poll, Murphy, a Democrat, holds a 15-point lead over his Republican challenger, former Assemblyman Ciattarelli.

The poll also finds Ciattarelli has work to do to get his name out there, with 70% of those surveyed saying they didn’t know enough about him to have an opinion of him. Meantime, half of those respondents said they approve of the job Murphy is doing, and 39% said they disapprove.
