National park in West Orange keeps Edison’s spirit of innovation alive

Thomas Edison had a prolific career in the Garden State. One of his labs is preserved at the Thomas Edison National Historical Park in West Orange. The park’s chief of interpretation and education officer Karen Sloat-Olsen talks to NJTV about some of the work he produced in his labs and the reason he chose New Jersey for his labs.

The park is featured in NJTV’s latest installment of In Your Neighborhood, which highlights innovation all throughout the state.

“In Your Neighborhood: Innovation” airs Wednesday, May 20, 2019 on NJTV at 8 p.m.
