Montclair State University has on-campus COVID-19 concierge

A stable contact for students in unstable times

Although COVID-19 transmission rates and seven-day averages are at the lowest point in months in New Jersey, colleges across in the states aren’t taking any chances. At Montclair State University, a new position has been created, that of COVID-19 concierge. Former athletics director Holly Gera is the new on-campus COVID Housing and Health Concierge — a single point of contact for student’s questions and concerns.

It may sound like something reserved for an upscale boutique hotel, but it could be critical to getting students back for in-person classes. Correspondent Leah Mishkin reports.
