Rutgers pediatricians finalize details of upcoming vaccine trials for kids

In a surprise to researchers, many parents are calling, eager to sign up their children for COVID-19 vaccine trials in New Jersey. Separate trials, organized by Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, will study vaccines from Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson.

Doctors say that getting kids immunized would help create herd immunity, because children can be asymptomatic carriers.
