After years of legal and political fighting, construction on a controversial project in Jersey City is moving ahead, with an agreement reached to build two, 64-story twin residential towers in Journal Square. The dispute centered on allegations that the city was holding up the project due to bias toward the developer, Kushner Companies and its relationship with President Donald Trump, along with a request for tax abatements.
