Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine 66% effective against moderate to severe illness

As New Jersey and the rest of the country scramble to replenish supplies of already approved COVID-19 vaccines, there’s news that another version of the shot is close to distribution. According to New Brunswick-based Johnson & Johnson, its vaccine is 66% effective overall at preventing moderate and severe illness.

The one-shot vaccine has been hailed as a potential game-changer in a country desperate for more doses. For more on what the news means, Anchor Michael Hill talks with Montclair State University epidemiologist Stephanie Silvera.
