Interpreting new CDC guidance for fully vaccinated individuals

State leaders say the new CDC guidance on mask wearing mimics what New Jersey has been doing all along, by keeping the rule to mask up while indoors — and when outside, if you can’t socially distance. The big change is all the extra outdoor activities deemed safe for fully vaccinated residents to do while maskless, which medical experts say they are more comfortable with as new cases continue to drop.
