Hundreds gather for Stop Asian Hate rallies

A Stop Asian Hate march was held in Fort Lee Saturday afternoon, with hundreds of residents showing their support for Asian Americans. Mayor Mark Sokolich declared that Fort Lee is no place for those who participate in hate, and told the Asian community, “we stand by your side.”

Another Stop Asian Hate rally was also held in Princeton on Saturday and hundreds gathered there to protest against racism against Asian Americans.

New Jersey Rep. Andy Kim calls the recent shootings of eight people in Atlanta, including six Asian American women, a “scar upon our country.” He flew to Atlanta to pay his respects to those who lost their lives and is speaking out against hate.
