How to support a local business from home: Have a cold one

Originally excluded from the list of businesses allowed to remain open during the COVID-19 shutdown, New Jersey’s breweries are now permitted to offer their products for delivery and takeout only.

Alexis Degan, executive director of the New Jersey Brewers Association tells Business Correspondent Rhonda Schaffler that she expects demand to be high, and that a lot of breweries will likely take advantage of the takeout and delivery option even if they hadn’t in the past. She added that the decision helped keep some breweries in business.
