A mother and her 6-year-old son learn how to cope — at their own pace — with grief

It’s been a challenging year for families who have lost loved ones to the coronavirus. It’s been equally as challenging for those families to explain to children what happens in a pandemic, when it seems like modern medicine can cure diseases and prolong lives but cannot save the lives of many suffering with COVID-19. Correspondent Joanna Gagis spoke to one mother and her son about their loss and how they are dealing with grief.
