Holy Name plans for vaccine distribution with a focus on communities of color

With the state’s COVID-19 vaccination plan underway, there’s a major push across New Jersey to encourage African Americans and Latinx residents to get vaccinated. Historic abuse and experimentation in medical research are well-documented, promoting fear of and resistance to medical treatments among those two groups. Many Black and brown leaders say the benefits of vaccination outweigh any concerns.
