Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Executive Chef David Spero and a culinary team packed bags for those in need this Thanksgiving. Employees prepared hundreds of bags, filling them with all the turkey-day fixings, including a 12 pound frozen turkey. They’ll be given to Atlantic City seniors as part of the Hard Rock’s “Day of Gratitude.”
“This bag is going to allow them to not have to go out and go shopping. We’re going to be able to deliver this right to their homes so they don’t need to leave, they don’t need to put themselves at risk and they can just make this meal in their home,” Spero said.
