Gov. Murphy sets new restrictions on NJ bars, restaurants

The new rules would also ban indoor youth sports competition with out-of-state teams

Gov. Phil Murphy set new restrictions Monday, including a 10 p.m. closing time on indoor service at New Jersey bars and restaurants, in an effort to stop the rising tide of COVID-19 cases in the state. Murphy also banned sitting at the bar.

With many restaurants already facing the hurdle of winter taking away outdoor dining, how is the restaurant industry reacting to the new restrictions? Senior Correspondent Brenda Flanagan reports.
