One of the less competitive campaigns in this year’s election is happening for the U.S. Senate, where Democratic Sen. Cory Booker is seeking a second six-year term. According to polls, he holds a sizable lead over his challenger, Republican Rik Mehta. Neither has spent much money on television ads nor on a campaign blitz. And the COVID-19 outbreak has stymied most traditional get-out-the-vote efforts.
