Federal Reserve upbeat on United States economy

The economy was front and center in the business world Wednesday. The U.S. Federal Reserve decided to hold rates steady, and expects no rate hikes for next year. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said he expects the job market will remain healthy.

Elsewhere in Washington D.C., lawmakers are preparing to vote as early as tomorrow on a bill that would lower prescription drug prices for those on Medicare.

In Newark, the city unveiled a new ultra high-speed Wifi network that offers free hotspots in the Ironbound neighborhood.
