Ciattarelli campaign stresses candidate’s Jersey roots heading into election contest against Gov. Murphy

As Gov. Phil Murphy seeks reelection, center stage in this year’s gubernatorial race will be the governor’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic. Likely facing him will be former Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli, the presumptive Republican nominee; the two clash on most of the state’s COVID-19-related policies. And though the election is months away, the attack ads have already begun.
