Chaotic presidential debate leaves student watchers weary and wary

Rutgers-Camden students are part of a national program that focuses on discussing the debate free from spin

Tuesday night’s debate between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden is perhaps going down in history as the “Chaos in Cleveland.” For many viewers, the debate was almost unwatchable, resulting in a huge drop in ratings compared to four years ago. Perhaps worst of all, so little was offered about how to address the biggest issues facing America.

Former Gov. Chris Christie helped Trump prepare for the first of three presidential debates and even he said, “It was hotter than expected.”

Senior Correspondent David Cruz watched the first debate with a group of Rutgers-Camden students who are taking part in a national program that focuses on discussing the debate free from anyone’s spin.
