Cancellation of Jersey City bus lines draws fire

A&C says it needs NJ Transit to share the $1.4 billion in CARES Act funding it received from the federal government

In Hudson County, Jersey City representatives and residents are blasting Gov. Phil Murphy and NJ Transit for leaving underserved communities stranded after a private bus company canceled two bus routes during the pandemic and allegedly failed to notify the public. Now they’re calling on the government to step in for these vulnerable neighborhoods. Correspondent Michael Hill reports.
