Can the stimulus package help alleviate child poverty through tax credits?

Part of the $1.9 trillion stimulus package signed into law by President Joe Biden gives a cash boost to eligible parents. Those under a certain income threshold will receive what equates to a monthly allowance per child, a few hundred dollars each. Could it eliminate child poverty?
