Bracing for debate over child COVID-19 vaccine

‘It's still early; there is no clinical trial yet for children’

School and public health officials are bracing for the debate over whether a COVID-19 vaccination will now be among those required for students to attend school. The chairman of the state’s Senate health committee this week said he plans to propose all schoolchildren get inoculated once the vaccine has pediatric approval.

But he’s also the first to admit that this will be a cause of controversy. Education writer John Mooney joins Anchor Briana Vannozzi with the latest.
