Blacks, Latinos lagging behind others on COVID-19 vaccine acceptance

How one town tries to counteract that trend

The state Health Department dashboard shows low, single-digit percentages of Black and brown people taking the COVID-19 vaccines. The town of Teaneck is working to reverse that. It put on a webinar where people in the community could meet doctors online, ask questions and get answers. The mission: to raise low vaccination numbers in communities hit hardest by the virus.
