Assemblyman Gordon Johnson on why he should replace Sen. Loretta Weinberg

One of the most hotly contested primary races this election cycle is in Bergen County’s 37th legislative District, where former running mates, Democratic Assembly members Gordon Johnson and Valerie Vainieri Huttle, are vying for the seat held by retiring Sen. Loretta Weinberg.

Gordon has the backing of the party. Huttle wants an open primary. Last week, Assemblywoman Vainieri Huttle shared her take on the contentious race. This week it’s the turn of Assemblyman Johnson.
