There’s a facial recognition app local law enforcement has used to identify potential suspects in a criminal investigation, but no more. The state attorney general has banned the use of Clearview AI. It all stems from concerns over the software, which amassed more than 3 billion photos, and may also be used to invade a person’s privacy and threaten their security.
